Iconoteka is run by Oleg Turbaba, who decides what the site records and why. For questions, requests or complaints about your data, get in touch. The address reaches him directly.

When you browse

• The pages you open, the site you arrived from, your country, and your browser and device type
• Counted by Google Analytics with a cookie, only after you accept. Decline and it never loads

When you use the library

• Which icons are copied or downloaded, which searches come up empty, and which icons people request
• Your browser's user-agent string, sent with them
• Logged without a cookie. This is what tells the library which icons are missing

On your device

• Your light or dark theme, and your answer to the cookie banner, kept in your browser's own storage
• Neither leaves your device

That is the whole list. The site has no accounts, no advertising and no tracking across other sites, and it never asks for your name, address or payment details.

• Consent. Analytics runs only on your consent, which you can change at any time.
• Legitimate interest. The usage log holds no identifiers, and without it there is no way to tell which icons the library still lacks.

• Google Analytics (Google LLC) counts visits and processes the usage log, on servers in the United States, under Google's standard contractual clauses.
• GitHub Pages serves the site and keeps its own short-lived server logs.
• Dropbox hosts the press kit, so downloading it is a visit to Dropbox under their terms.

Fonts and icons are served from this site itself. The Figma plugin records the same anonymous usage signals as the site. The npm packages and the MCP server run on your own machine and send nothing anywhere.

• Analytics is kept for 14 months.
• The usage log is kept as long as it is useful for deciding what to draw next.
• Your theme and banner answer stay in your browser until you clear them.

You can ask what is held about you, have it deleted, object to it being collected, or complain to your data protection authority. Because none of it is tied to a name or an account, a request usually comes down to a date and a rough description of what you did.
